̨ÍåÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ Talent Match has been designed to help organisations, in the UK and globally, with their recruitment.

We offer a range of internship programmes – Micro, Finalist and Master's (Postgraduate) - for UK based companies. Information including dates and funding can be found below.

We also actively welcome and encourage international companies to get in touch and benefit from the great skills and knowledge our international and home students can bring to your business. Our Talent Match Global programme provides an excellent opportunity for you to engage with our students through short-term internships or a work-related project brief - for more information see below.

Why recruit our students?

There are many reasons to recruit our brilliant students, graduates and masters students at ̨ÍåÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼. We remain a Top 10 University in all of the UK league table rankings and excel across many disciplines. The courses themselves are high quality, highly ranked and accredited, with many containing industry-based content - allowing the students to understand not just the theory but also the practicality of what they are studying.

Micro-Internships

Our Micro-Internship programme is a great opportunity to get support from our 1st and 2nd year students on a very flexible basis.

Key Information

  • 50-hour long Internship
  • They can stretch across a number of weeks (typically between 4-8 weeks)
  • Student(s) will be able to come in and support on a specific project or piece of work during this period
  • Opportunities will be aimed at our first and second years
  • If you are impressed by the student, we would suggest offering them further opportunities in your business, whether this is through Part Time work, Summer Internship etc
  • Top talent available
  • The roles will be fully funded* by the University

Finalist Internships

Our Finalist Micro-Internship Programme is a great opportunity for you to take on one of our fantastic final year students to work on a key project for your organisation. The internship has the ability to be flexible and is a great chance for a final year student to gain some work experience and complete a internship/project.

As an employer, you gain the insights of an experienced and talented student.

Master's (postgraduate) Internships

Our Talent Match Master's (postgraduate) internship programme has been designed to help organisations utilise our students’ skills and expertise for short-term projects and resourcing. It is a great chance to bring an experienced master's student into the business, gain fresh perspectives and benefit from the impact and added value they bring. 

We have potential funding available to cover a large amount of the student salary for the internship and, in addition, our free recruitment support ensures a stress-free service from advertising roles on our careers’ portal, to sifting through the applications and assisting with shortlisting.

  • 100 hours spread over 6-8 weeks
  • Flexible hours per week to fit with your needs (students can work up to 20 hours per week during term time)
  • Internships to be completed between February – end of April 2025
  • Aimed at Master's students starting their course in October 2024
  • The role will need to be of a suitable level (Master's level)
  • Majority funded by the University* with remainder paid by Employer

Talent Match Global

Our Talent Match Global programme has been designed to help international companies around the world utilise our students’ skills and expertise for short-term projects and resourcing. It is a great chance to introduce a student into the business, gain fresh perspectives and benefit from the impact and added value they bring. 

We have funding available to cover the student salary for this virtual internship and, in addition, our free recruitment support ensures a stress-free service from advertising roles on our careers’ portal, to sifting through the applications and assisting with shortlisting. 

Key Information

  • 50 hours spread over 3-4 weeks
  • Internship to take place remotely
  • Flexible hours per week to fit your needs (students can work up to 20 hours per week during term time, longer in vacations)
  • Internships to be completed between July – end of September 2025
  • Aimed at 1st & 2nd year students starting their course in October 2024
  • Fully funded by the University*

Wolfson Postgraduate (PGT) Micro-Internships

Please note this Micro-Internship Programme has now ended, details will be updated for the new academic year.

Our PGT Micro-Internship programme is a great opportunity to get support from our fantastic students on a very flexible basis.

Key Information

  • 50-hour long Internships
  • They can stretch across a number of weeks, we are suggesting between (4-8 weeks)
  • Student(s) will be able to come in and support on a specific project or piece of work during this period
  • Opportunities will be aimed at postgraduate taught students within The Wolfson School MEME studying a range of MSc programmes
  • If you are impressed by the student, we would suggest offering them further opportunities in your business, whether this is through Part Time work, Summer Internship or Graduate role etc.
  • Top talent available
  • The roles will be fully funded* by the University

Talent Match+

Talent Match+ is about providing a more tailored recruitment service for organisations who are keen on recruiting ̨ÍåÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ students and graduates.

Talent Match+ will support organisations who are looking to recruit one or several students/graduates, whether this is for short-term internships, year placements, or graduate level roles.

Our expert team will be on hand to support and guide you through every stage of the recruitment process, to include:

  • Sector leading consultancy about who you are looking to recruit and how.
  • Personal Account Manager who you can speak to about any issues throughout all stages.
  • Advice and guidance on how to create a standout job advert to engage the students.
  • Full advertisement and communications package to ensure your advert reaches the relevant students including a Target Email (worth up to £250).
  • Recruitment package to include support for potential students with their applications and sifting through applications to leave the strongest ones, which we will send over for you to move forward with.
  • Engagement opportunity either on campus or virtually to interact with students (format to be agreed) i.e. mentoring, workshops, skills sessions.
  • Full review after the recruitment has been completed
