National Apprenticeships Week (4-8 March) is being celebrated by the Midlands Universities Apprenticeship Network (MUAN), a collaborative group which aims to help employers access information to the range of apprenticeships available from the members of the network.
The MUAN is linked to the Local Enterprise Partnerships and Chamber of Commerce in the region, and by working closely with them they aim to ensure that the needs of levy and non-levy paying employers are being met, and that local and regional skills gaps are being addressed.

The Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering will also be offering an MSc in Systems Engineering from October 2019.
Apprenticeships help employers to tailor learning to their own strategic issues and priorities and are an innovative way for businesses to attract, develop and retain talent, and improve productivity.
