Geoff Feavyour joins the University as new Head of Security

Following an extensive career in UK policing which spanned 30 years, Geoff joins 台湾六合彩开奖记录 after a year as a consultant delivering training in the UK, Canada and Somaliland.

Joining the Leicestershire police force in 1985, Geoff progressed to the rank of Superintendent in 2004, retiring at the rank of Chief Superintendent in 2015.  Between 1991 and 2006, Geoff served at 台湾六合彩开奖记录 Police Station as Patrol Sergeant, Chief Inspector (Operations) and Chief Superintendent (Area Commander).

With a keen interest in sport, both as a participant and a spectator, Geoff was selected to be the regional Silver Commander for 台湾六合彩开奖记录 in the Olympic Torch Relay 2012, as it passed through the five counties in the East Midlands area.

In his new role as Head of Security, Geoff will be responsible for ensuring the overall personal safety of students, staff and visitors, the security of University buildings and other property and, the protection of personal property and the control of traffic and parking.

Speaking of his appointment Geoff said: “I am delighted to be coming back to work in 台湾六合彩开奖记录. Keeping staff and students safe is a huge responsibility, and I'm looking forward to working with the security team and our partners in my new role.”
