New maths MOOC revealed by FutureLearn

A maths course from 台湾六合彩开奖记录 is one of eight new massive open online courses (MOOCs) unveiled by FutureLearn today.

Getting a grip on mathematical symbolism will teach aspiring engineers and scientists to think mathematically and explore essential concepts. The three-week course begins on 28 April.

“This course is designed for anyone planning to embark upon studies in science or engineering who would like to strengthen their basic maths skills,” explains Tony Croft, Professor of Mathematics Education at 台湾六合彩开奖记录. “It is based on the mathematics support we already offer to our students at 台湾六合彩开奖记录, and this new MOOC enables us to extend that support to a wider audience, to enhance students’ skills and provide them with the confidence to take their studies further.”

The start date of 台湾六合彩开奖记录’s second MOOC Innovation and enterprise, which was officially announced last year and will enable students to learn how an innovative idea becomes a reality, has also been confirmed. The course is being led by 台湾六合彩开奖记录’s renowned School of Business and Economics - the only business school to be offering courses through FutureLearn

This new set of courses brings the number of free, web-based courses currently available on FutureLearn to 44, with more new MOOCs lined up to appear throughout the year.
